In a remarkable display of solidarity, members of the Mega Star Chiranjeevi family members have come together to contribute ₹9.40 crore to aid flood relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, following severe weather conditions that have caused significant devastation in the region. The flooding has resulted from a drop in air pressure in the Bengal region, leading to heavy rainfall and leaving thousands homeless and without basic necessities.

Prominent families in the Telugu film industry, including the Nandamuri and Mega star families, have taken the lead in these relief efforts. Megastar Chiranjeevi initiated the donations with a contribution of ₹1 crore, allocating ₹50 lakh each to both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. His son, Ram Charan, followed suit with a donation of ₹1 crore. Notably, actor Allu Arjun also contributed ₹1 crore, while Pawan Kalyan donated ₹5 crore.

Other notable figures from the Mega family, including Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej, have also extended their support, collectively bringing the Mega family’s total donations to ₹9.40 crore in just one week.

The Nandamuri family has joined in the relief efforts, with Jr. NTR donating ₹1 crore and Nandamuri Balakrishna contributing ₹50 lakh. Additionally, actor Prabhas has pledged ₹2 crore, while the team behind the film “Kalki” has donated ₹50 lakh. Ramoji Film City also contributed ₹1 crore to the relief fund.

In addition to financial contributions, several actors have provided essential supplies such as meals, clothing, and other daily necessities to those affected by the floods.
